Prayaas - An effort to give back to the Society

PRAYAAS is Mu Sigma’s effort to give back to the community and work towards a better society. Through our efforts, we reach out to the underprivileged viz. a viz. services ranging from teaching poor school children, working with old age homes, orphanages, NGOs, to conducting awareness programs for causes like AIDS, Child Education, Global Warming, Animal Welfare and Deforestation.

In line with our focus on continuous education, Mu Sigma's Prayaas initiated the Back to School Campaign along the start of the new academic year for schools in India (Jul 2011). The proceeds, contributed by the employees of Mu Sigma in kind, were handed over to the students of Shishu Mandir, an educational support for the less privileged.

Close on heels of the AIDS Day, Prayaas (in association with Rotary TTK blood bank) organized a Blood Donation Camp on 9 Dec 2010. The event that took place in the Mu Sigma facility saw many employees donate their blood to a cause.
