BASIC STATISTICS
Statistics helps in collecting, classifying and interpreting data that conveys information.
CHI-SQUARED TEST
The Chi-Squared Test of Association allows the comparison of two attributes (i.e. qualitative variables) in a sample of data to determine if there is any relationship between them.
LOG LINEAR ANALYSIS
Log Linear analysis is a very useful tool in multivariate set up to analyze the contingency table where the variables are of the qualitative type.
ANOVA / MANOVA
ANOVA or Analysis of Variance is an important tool in statistics which tests the significance of difference of means for two or more groups. A t-test is used normally when two groups of observations needs to be compared.
FACTOR ANALYSIS
Factor Analysis is an exploratory multivariate statistical method used to summarize the information contained in a large set of variables in terms of a smaller set of composite variables, called FACTORS.
CLUSTER ANALYSIS
Cluster analysis is an exploratory data analysis tool for solving classification problems. Its object is to sort cases (people, things, events, etc) into groups, or clusters, so that the degree of association is strong between members of the same cluster and weak between members of different clusters.
TEXT MINING
Text mining , also known as intelligent text analysis, text data mining or knowledge-discovery in text (KDT), refers generally to the process of extracting interesting and non-trivial information and knowledge from unstructured text.
DISCRIMINANT ANALYSIS
Discriminant Analysis works by combining variables in such a way that the differences between predefined groups are maximized. The group membership must be known before using Discriminant Analysis.
CHAID
CHAID or Chi-Square Automatic Interaction Detector is an exploratory method or more precisely an algorithm to study the relationship between a dependent variable and a series of predictor variables.
LINEAR REGRESSION
Linear Regression analysis is the simplest kind of regression analysis concerned with describing and evaluating the relationship between two variables. So it is basically a bivariate analysis.
GENERALIZED LINEAR MODEL
The Generalized Linear Model (GLZ) is a generalization of the general linear model.
NEURAL NETWORK
A neural network is a powerful data modeling tool that is able to capture and represent complex input/output relationships.
